My oldest and dearest gal pal in the entire universe.
“Elizabeth” and I have known each other since we were teenagers. And no matter that we have not lived in the same zip code since we were 17 years old…we have always stayed connected. By choice. Because our friendship is that important to us. She is one of the most precious gifts I’ve ever received. And I am so very fortunate that she is not my only “sibling”. However, I will say Elizabeth is my “twin”. And twins share a special bond. Completely different in all the ways that do not count. Exactly the same in all the ways that do.
Falls under the “I must have eaten all my vegetables in a past life, so now I get to eat chocolate cake” category of life.

I think it is so nice that you and your friend have remained close since you were children. Not too many folks have that kind of bond.
Oh and remember, chocolate cake has most of the major food groups so indulge!

Yes, I am so very fortunate to have more than one “sibling”. And while I do embrace the idea that chocolate cake has most of the major food groups, it has been so long since I indulged…I think I would go into sugar shock [insert cheshire cat grin here]!
